NYC and Providence- it’s a slice of my youth and the art /music scene is unbeatable.

How would you describe yourself physically?
Cute.

How would someone else describe you physically?
Cute.

My big ass eyes!

Ever changing/brown/purrrrrsian princess.

I like dudes.

Are you superstitious at all? Any phobias?
A little… phobia of feta cheese, don’t ask, man.

Nope.

I drink soda every once in a while.

Current occupation/Dream job:
Journalist/fashion blogger/actress- living the dream.

What do you like to do when you’re not at work?
Being Felix and Max’s (my sons) bitch.

What is your zombie outbreak survival plan?
Wear a Thom Browne dress while getting attacked… if u can’t beat them join them.

Weapon of choice:
My lipstick knife for smaller jobs, a gun if I’m not to fuck around.

Do you have any special skills?
I speak Farsi- The language of the CIA.

Did you go to college and, if so, what for?
Yes, with you! Communications/biology/theater!
What was it like in college? It would be interesting to get someone else’s perspective.
I loved college… it was a social place for me more than a place of education. I consider those the best years of my single life.

If you went to college, did you manage to pay off your student loans?
No loans- scholarships and hard work looking cute.

Any pets? If so, what are they and what are their names?
YES YES YES  I have 4 kitties- all purrrrsian. Mr. Miggins, Mrs. Minky, Miss Mimi and Ms. Coco.

What is your favorite animal?
CATS

Speaking of pets, any pet peeves?
Tardiness, flakiness.

Favorite/Least favorite Food:
Fave= Persian style Kabobs Least= any Mexican food with beans.

What is your favorite quotation/motto/saying?
Yeah, Bitch!

What is the best thing that ever happened to you?
My children and meeting my hubby.

What is the worst thing that ever happened to you?
Almost died having my second son 3 months prematurely. But all is good now.

Ever had your heart broken? Is there a story worth telling behind your answer? Yes, and fuck that douche- I hate him!

Ever broken someone’s heart? Is there a story worth telling behind your answer?
Probably… I never break hearts on purpose.

What is the best thing you’ve ever done?
Save stray/shelter cats from a death sentence… helping elderly people with living a comfortable life. (I’m also a nurse’s assistant.)

What is the worst thing you’ve ever done?
Once I sent cat poo to an ex.. I thought it was hilarious, but it freaked him out… a lot.

If you could kill one person, consequence free, who would it be and why?
Anyone who hurts animals and children.

What do you do?
I write a fashion blog, and interview celebrities for French TV/outlets. I also do acting in low budget films.
Do you interview your interviewees en Francais? No… my French is tres mal.
I had no idea that you acted in low budget films! Where can we check out your work?
You can look me up on imdb.com … I was in ‘Scarecrow’ and the upcoming ‘Attila’, and also a few commercials here and there (for MTV).

How did you get started doing what you do?
I just started writing my fashion blog about 5 years ago… it’s my passion to write whatever I want about effed up fashion. I started the TV journalism job about 11 years ago with my husband.

What is your advice to other people that want to get started doing what you do? Just keep doing what you’re doing… people will take notice eventually.

What are some of the projects you’ve worked on/finished in the past? Give us a little history if you will.
I was in a movie called ‘Scarecrow’ and most recently a movie that comes out on Halloween called ‘Attila’… You may see my youtube/roxybina for the interviews I have done for the past 11 years… my latest is ‘Carrie’  and ‘Hunger Games 2’ is upcoming. I also wrote an ipad app, called ‘Macabre fairy Tales’- that is my baby that I had been working on for a year…

What projects are you working on now?
Just wrapped Attila… released Macabre Fairy Tales fairly recently… and my blog/journalism is ongoing…

I heard they use that in Abu Ghraib as a torture tactic… no joke.
I would tell them all of my secrets and make some up to boot just to make the pain stop.

Best: Mother. / Worst: Nurse’s assistant.

About the Interviewee:
Roxanna Bina was born in Baltimore, Maryland. She was raised in Michigan and Rhode Island. She attended Rhode Island College and graduated in 2000 with a degree in Communications, Biology and Theater. Roxanna started modeling at the age of 17 in New York, Boston and Providence. She also starred in an MTV commercial, as well as a horror movie called 'Scarecrow' (with a cult following). Her latest film will be released on Halloween of 2013 called ‘Attila’.
With an innate flair for fashion, Roxanna served as a fashion stylist for Sebastian Hair International. After designing several collections under her label 'Roxanna Bina Couture' and 'Mooshibear', Roxanna turned to writing freelance for several magazines. She was the fashion editor at Buzzine.com and also has a fashion blog called 'Teacups and Couture', which focuses on unusual fashion from emerging designers and artists. Check out her latest iPad interactive app called, Macabre Fairy Tales on iTunes.
In addition to being a writer, she also covers movie junkets as an international television journalist for the French territory on a regular basis. You may see her interviews on You Tube.
Her entrepreneurial ventures include a Bed & Breakfast in historic Providence, Rhode Island and a frozen , organic baby food company called Fifibear’s. She also acts as the head of Acquisitions at Wonderland Entertainment and is an associate producer on the Emmanuel Itier films, ‘The Invocation’ and ‘Femme’.

Roxanna collects James Bond memorabilia , Barbies, Be@rbricks and vintage clothes. She resides in California with her husband, 2 sons and 4 Persian cats.
